God truly had his hand on us, not only for protection, but also opportunity, because it looks like we would not have been able to minister there if our trip had been just a few days later. When I first heard about the violence in Kenya so soon after you left, it reminded me of a similar thing that happened when the 2005 Ethiopia team left. Just days later there were riots and people killed. If our trip had been just a couple days later we too would not have been able to do what we did. Reminds me again that we are not fighting a war against flesh and blood but are engaged in a spiritual battle. Praise God you were able to be there to minister, share and provide some hope.

Wow, praise God that He had his hand of protection on you guys during your time. Reminds me of the waves of the red sea being held back until the Israelites were across.
The same thing happened after we were in Ethiopia. Rioting occured the next week. I will be praying with you all for this area!
